Hill Country Land Trust Land Steward Video Series

Welcome to the second in a series of videos on land management topics produced by the Hill Country Land Trust. In this video, we will take a look at how best to utilize and control Ashe Juniper (Cedar trees). Many landowners are concerned about juniper's ability to overwhelm their property, but instead of clear-cutting and total elimination, viewers are invited to consider a different approach to managing this plant.

You can also download a pdf of more detailed guidelines - Managing Ashe Juniper.pdf

We also have available a report on an actual thinning project from the CL Browning Ranch.
